Rudolf Höss - the master of Auschwitz

Very interesting memoirs of ss commander Rudolf Höss. Lots of details both personal and touching and scary and horrible. Strange man.

Good clear voice.

Second go

It is as good and interesting the second time as it was for the first. Again this made me think how this probably is topical again as ISIS is unraveling. The totally crazy success of Nazi ideology in Germany is almost uncomprihensible, but after listening to this audiobook it is a tiny fraction easier to understand how it could happen. Is this what and how it is now happening in the minds of ISIL/ISIS minds? Do those shitbags now, in their final hour realize how their ideology is wrong and their actions are collective insanity?

Hannelore Brenner - Girls of room 28

Ken Follett - Jackdaws

This time I write this in english to attract and appeal to english readers. This book by Ken Follett is about second world war and french resistance. Perhaps especially women working under british SOE in france. Very detailed book like all books by Follett.

Internet says writer is famous for the ww2 books - but unfortunately I haven't read any. Will definitely do so in future.

Reader is woman, very nice voice and as common in english books she is acting the characters. Clear voice allows for relatively high speed even with book like this. Very very good listening experience.
